Politics of Sibu Soren (and his team members), the unfortunate Chief Minister of Unfortunate state Jharkhand has always been to remain in power somehow or the other. He has contributed nothing for tribals in fact. He has done nothing for the state whenever he was in power at state level or at central level .He and his gang men always made efforts to accumulate wealth by extorting money from businessmen, demanding money by vehicles owner passing on the road, or forcefully collecting money from people in service using musclemen of his party. Not only Sibu Soren , even other Chief Ministers and ministers who headed Jharkhand before him and other so called leaders of tribal people of Jharkhand have simply misused tribal sentiments for personal gains. Leaders of Jharkhand mostly indulged in caste politics and almost ignored welfare steps desired to be taken by them as promised by them during election rallies and in their election manifestos.
Otherwise a rich state like Jharkhand after its separation of undivided Bihar could have remained far better than divided Bihar. People in Jharkhand could never imagine that the state of Bihar will attain the prosperity in such a short span of time and leave Jharkhand far behind in the race of development, welfare of local poor residents and improvement of standard of living of people always categorized as the most backward in the country.
I say the people of Jharkhand are unfortunate that despite all mineral resources and lacs of talented people available in the state, people of Jharkhand state are constrained to go to other states for education and also for earning their livelihood. It is unfortunate that even in farming, the state is far behind than the neighboring state Bihar. Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar in particular has turned the image of Bihar and he is proud to get second rank in the matter of development .Nitish Kumar has become an icon to reckon with at national level. On the contrary Jharkhand have been ruined by Chief Minster like Madhu Koda or Sibu Soren. But Personal property of all ministers have grown in hundreds of crores of rupees.
The main reason behind continued backwardness of the state and increasing poverty in the state is large scale corruption prevailing in the system. Unfortunately almost all leaders who ruled the state after its birth looted the state fund to the maximum extent possible. Administrative officers either supported ministers in perpetuating corruption or remained silent spectator in fear of repercussion in their career as also in their personal life. In a state where flattery and bribe are the main criteria for promotion in career in service or position up gradation in politics or for getting success in any business, one cannot even dream of actual development. More or less the same situation prevails all where in the country, but the position of Jharkhand state tops the list of states in this aspect. Central government is also silent spectator of all these mishappenings only to gain political advantage out of mess created by corrupt leaders of local parties and to keep Bhartiya Janta Party away from power. Ultimately people of the state have remained the sufferer and victim of misrule.

Why is Media always negative
Is Female dominated by male in Indian society?
The society is dominated by money power and muscle power and not by male, might is right. Everyone worship who is powerful, gender is irrelevant. In the state of Tamilnadu Jayalalitha is worshipped like goddess. Mayawati is treated as Devi in UP. Indira was treated as India. Even Sonia is followed like Devi. Many Congress leaders are ready to touch her feet to get some good post, respectable birth in cabinet, get a ticket for election etc. Every male member loves his sister, wife, and mother more than his brother, father or anyone else. In many offices lady worker has played effective role. Bank like ICICI is headed by lady Kochar. Indian bank was headed by lady chairman who changed the fate of Indian bank. I therefore do not agree with the saying that lady in India is dominated by male member. There are several males who do not work, who are addict of bad habits, and who are totally incompetent try to dominate forcefully on female .they are few. It will not be an exaggeration if one say that in practice and in real life of a good family, male are dominated by female, not due to any pressure but due to mutual love and respect.
Why Indian depends on USA for all matters related to Pakistan? Can Indian alone not tackle Pakistan?.
This is the great weakness of Indian diplomacy. In the past India used to blindly support USSR and now blindly follow USA. Inspite of all India's image is good in International arena. Even USA considers India as a probable threat in future. USA uses Pakistan as a tool to weaken India to maintain dominance of USA. However India has built the capacity to teach Pakistan lesson and damage it if needed. But in war, loss occurs to both parties. Even Pakistan has developed substantial energy to spoil many parts of India. As such war is enemy of human being, causes loss to warring countries, more or less it may be, loss is loss. All efforts are therefore by peace loving country India to resolve the issue with dialogue or with pressure from super powers of the world as we all peace loving people in India use to do to resolve family or social disputes through dialogue and through intervention of some effective person of the area. . Indian people always condemn terrorism and naxalism. All religions advise for love and mutual respect.
Why people do not revolt against corruption?
There is no revolt against corrupt system because most of the people are corrupt. All are sitting in glass house. Who can dare throwing stone on others? Number of person not accepting or giving illegal money, gifts and favour of any kind are very limited and hence not powerful and not that much effective which can produce a wave of revolt against rampant corruption in the system. India needs person like Gandhi who shook the castle of British rule and gave India freedom. Jai Prakash Narayan tried to punish the corrupt public representative but failed to stop greedy followers who punctured his movement to serve their vested self interest. India needs person like Netaji Subhash Bose or Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel. We have Manmohan and microscopically few other simple people full of honesty who follows Lady Sonia to safeguard his post or who prefer remaining a silent spectator of rape of democracy and prevalent corruption in Indian system. As such people have more or less accepted corrupt practices as normal practices. .
What should an employee do when he or she is harassed by his boss or CEO?
Days are gone when labour laws were respected by government. Now-a-days even labour offices, government departments, banks, insurance companies and all private companies are indulged in labour exploitation of labour. There is none to raise voice against it in the name of reformation. In near future we will reincarnation of socialism in some other name. Capitalism cannot last long. Gap between rich and poor is widening and as a result crime graph is going up and up, riches are indulged in profit making and hence price are going up and up. Ministers and officers, babus and even peons are indulged in earning illegal money. There is none to raise a voice against boss or CEO of any company who are forcing employees to work more than twelve hours a day and who have almost made the family life of employees miserable. Even if some voices are raised here and there, such people are isolated and shunted in critical and remote areas or removed from service. As such most of good workers have to lead a life in rejection, dejection, depression, frustration etc.
What Dr. Abdul Kalam says about Media:
I reproduce an article said to have been written by Dr.Abdul kalam and received by me through Email.
Why is the media here so negative?
Why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our achievements?
We are such a great nation. We have so many amazing success stories but we refuse to acknowledge them.
Why do we ignore them?
We are the first in milk production.
We are number one in Remote sensing satellites.
We are the second largest producer of wheat.
We are the second largest producer of rice.
Look at Dr. Sudarshan; he has transferred the tribal village into a self-sustaining, self-driving unit. There are millions of such achievements but our media is only obsessed in the bad news and failures and disasters.
I was in Tel Aviv once and I was reading the Israeli newspaper. It was the day after a lot of attacks and bombardments and deaths had taken place. The Hamas had struck. But the front page of the newspaper had the picture of a Jewish gentleman who in five years had transformed his desert into an orchid and a granary. It was this inspiring picture that everyone woke up to. The gory details of killings, bombardments, deaths, were inside in the newspaper, buried among other news.
In India we only read about death, sickness, terrorism, crime. Why are we so NEGATIVE? Another question: Why are we, as a nation so obsessed with foreign things? We want foreign T.Vs, we want foreign shirts. We want foreign technology.
Why this obsession with everything imported. Do we not realize that self-respect comes with self-reliance? I was in Hyderabad giving this lecture, when a 14 year old girl asked me for my autograph. I asked her what her goal in life is.
She replied: I want to live in a developed India. For her, you and I will have to build this developed India. You must proclaim. India is not an under-developed nation; it is a highly developed nation.
Do you have 10 minutes? Allow me to come back with a vengeance.
Got 10 minutes for your country? If yes, then read; otherwise, choice is yours.
YOU say that our government is inefficient.
YOU say that our laws are too old.
YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage.
YOU say that the phones don't work, the railways are a joke. The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination.
YOU say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.
YOU say, say and say. What do YOU do about it?
Take a person on his way to Singapore. Give him a name - 'YOURS'. Give him a face - 'YOURS'. YOU walk out of the airport and you are at your International best. In Singapore you don't throw cigarette butts on the roads or eat in the stores. YOU are as proud of their Underground links as they are.. You pay $5 (approx. Rs. 60) to drive through Orchard Road (equivalent of Mahim Causeway or Pedder Road) between 5 PM and 8 PM. YOU come back to the parking lot to punch your parking ticket if you have over stayed in a restaurant or a shopping mall irrespective of your status identity… In Singapore you don't say anything, DO YOU?
YOU wouldn't dare to eat in public during Ramadan, in Dubai. YOU would not dare to go out without your head covered in Jeddah.
YOU would not dare to buy an employee of the telephone exchange in London at 10 pounds (Rs.650) a month to, 'see to it that my STD and ISD calls are billed to someone else.’
YOU would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop, 'Jaanta hai main kaun hoon (Do you know who I am?). I am so and so's son. Take your two bucks and get lost.'
YOU wouldn't chuck an empty coconut shell anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Australia and New Zealand.
Why don't YOU spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo ?
Why don't YOU use examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston???
We are still talking of the same YOU. YOU who can respect and conform to a foreign system in other countries but cannot in your own. You who will throw papers and cigarettes on the road the moment you touch Indian ground. If you can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country, why cannot you be the same here in India?
In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the job. Same in Japan.
Will the Indian citizen do that here?'
He's right. We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility.
We sit back wanting to be pampered and expect the government to do everything for us whilst our contribution is totally negative.
We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick a up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the bin.
We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms.
We want Indian Airlines and Air India to provide the best of food and toiletries but we are not going to stop pilfering at the least opportunity.
This applies even to the staffs who are known not to pass on the service to the public.
When it comes to burning social issues like those related to women, dowry, girl child! and others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home. Our excuse?
'It's the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone forego my sons' rights to a dowry.' So who's going to change the system?
What does a system consist of?
Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbors, other households, other cities, other communities and the government. But definitely not me and YOU. When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr.Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we leave the country and run away.
Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their glory and praise their system. When New York becomes insecure we run to England. When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out to the Gulf. When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and brought home by the Indian government. Everybody is out to abuse and rape the country. Nobody thinks of feeding the system. Our conscience is mortgaged to money.
Dear Indians, The article is highly thought inductive, calls for a great deal of introspection and pricks one's conscience too…. I am echoing J. F. Kennedy's words to his fellow Americans to relate to Indians…..
'ASK WHAT WE CAN DO FOR INDIA AND DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE TO MAKE INDIA WHAT AMERICA AND OTHER WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE TODAY'
Let us do what India needs from us.
Thank you,
Dr.. Abdul Kalam

Few steps for fair election
- May I suggest some preventive steps to ensure free and fair election?
There should be complete prohibition in the country after the announcement of election till its declaration of result. Would it not help in minimizing crime during the election?
Distribution of any material, gifts, cash or even farm products among voters during campaign or otherwise should be banned and if any candidate found to be indulged in such activities directly or through his supporters, his candidature must be cancelled spontaneously.
Why does a good candidate need support of India fame political leader or a film actor or a few singer or dancer to win the election? Why not these rallys should be banned?
None of person outside the state or even outside the constituency should be allowed to file nomination in the election. None from outside the constituency should be allowed to campaign for any candidate.
Use of public transport or vehicle to mobilize audience in the political rally should be completely stopped after announcement of electoral dates
Any candidate should not be allowed to address a rally of people more than 500. This will force candidate to go to each mohalla and speak to voters more closely.
Caste based gathering or meeting should be completely banned and if possible even title of the candidate should be removed in all papers and documents.
One and only one car authorized by electoral officer for a candidate should be used for campaigning to minimize seizure of private cars by musclemen of party candidates. In constituencies with bigger area, number of vehicles to be used in the election may be two or three, maximum upto five. But registration number of all such cars must be quoted in nomination papers and the cars approved by the concerned electoral officer should boldly paste the same on the front glass of car.
List of political workers, polling agents and personal security guards must be given to district magistrate within three days of acceptance of nomination to avoid use of muslemen, booth capturer and criminals in the election.
Government should ban completely display of all types of arms including lathi, knives, kripals, trisuls, arrow etc from the date of finalization of candidature till declaration of result of the election.
All print and TV media should submit list of reporter or journalists or photographer to district magistrate within 24 hours of finalization of list of election candidates to avoid criminals working in disguise of press man or TV personnel.
Suppose criminals or terrorists are moving openly wearing dress of police or CRPF or BSF during election times or even in general days. Is there any check point in the hand of administrator? And if yes, are they conducting random checking?
Person with criminal record should be advised to surrender at least during election days and political party should be allowed to submit additional list or objects to police list. Disputed figure may be revisited by SP of other area.
Use of fire crackers, loud speakers, band parties, archestra, singer & dancer for election campaign should be completely banned.
Candidates should give list of promises made by him during election campaign to electoral officer on everyday in the evening .Candidate should declare before magistrate on oath that he will put such promises in action failing which his election may be cancelled and fresh election may be conducted. However a sitting candidate may be allowed to submit his report card on work done by him during his present or last tenure.
All political party of national level or regional level should focus on quality of candidate and not on caste or community or winning ability of candidate. If political parties avoid giving ticket to person of criminal record, good people will enter into Parliament and they will focus on business.
Should electoral officer also collect report on candidate from police, administration (district magistrate) and if possible local prominent social bodies or group of bodies including factual NGOs and if adverse report is found, the candidature should be rejected to nip in the bud.
Armed forces or other personnel on duty for election must be fully utilized, more specially in sensitive areas; daily report of their duty must be given to electoral officer.
Lastly all winning candidate should be instructed to submit performance report every month to District magistrate or CM or any appropriate authority who in turn will verify the correctness of performance shown by him and if found false , he should be empowered to award punitive action.

election in HP or Gujrat
BJP in Himachal Pradesh has demanded dissolution of state assembly and imposition president's rule for fair and free election.
Is BJP ready for the same course of action in the state of Gujrat where BJP is in power?
Conducting impartial polls should be the target for the Election Commission because it is very much desirable to minimize the corrupt practices adopted during polls by the ruling party. But what is the guarantee that the same ruling party will not misuses the government's machinery under Governor’s rule when the same party rules at the centre?
In the past it is so many times alleged that Governor is acting as puppet in the hands of the central Government. There are several instances of biased attitude adopted by the governor to please and favour the party at centre who favoured and awarded him with the post of the Governor.
We remember the misuses of power by the Governor in the state of Bihar and UP. We experienced the same tragedy in the state of Jharkhand by Mr. Sibte Hassan Governor in the recent past where misuse of authority was visible in the formation of the government and in the dissolution of the majority government.
As such there is no surety of unbiased conduct of poll under President's rule as long as the person sitting at the Top is bad, political leaders are corrupt .The great writer Sri Munsi Premchand rightly said "jab rakchak hi bhakchak ban jaye, to vinash nischit hai".
It means when rulers have malicious intention, none can stop them to commit sin of unfair practice. They can manipulate proceeding of the FIR or court cases in their favour if any one of loosing party preferred to lodge case in the court against them. Where is justice?
Even police officers will not accept FIR if the same is against any VIP .Even if a court proceedings started, it will prove futile because by the time court delivers the judgment the elected representative complete the full tenure.
Anyway it is the duty of the Election Commission to implement the suggestion of conduct of polls under President’s rule in all the states uniformly and try to explore the possibility of doing the same for Parliamentary election too. BJP should be ready to accept their well thought of logic for the state of Gujrat too and Congress Party should accept the challenge for the state of Himachal Pradesh and set a new trend.
It is expected that the unfair use of government fund and machinery will minimize the all the parties taking part in the election will play their politics in the same level.
